Partners in this crime

I could have keep, forever, the best of you.
As you could have done the same with me,
But instead you followed my steps.
Making the same mistake I did,
By taking the easier way.
It doesnt make you better or worse.
It make us partners in this crime.
This suicidal crime.

Still I can say that no one will know you like I did.
Just as no one could have it all from me.
